As the head coaches of St. Mary’s Kitende, Amus College School, Jinja Secondary School, Buddo Secondary School, Bukedea Comprehensive School, Fort Portal Secondary School, and Masaka Secondary School gather ahead of the USSSA-National Boys football draws on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, each brings their own perspective and determination to the upcoming tournament.
Edward Golola from St. Mary’s Kitende: “We’ve been preparing rigorously for this tournament, and our boys are ready to showcase their skills on the national stage. Our aim is clear: to bring the trophy back to St. Mary’s Kitende and uphold our legacy of excellence in football.”
Nimrod Kintu from Amus College School: “This tournament presents a fantastic opportunity for our team to prove ourselves against some of the best schools in the country. We’ve been working hard on our tactics and team cohesion, and we’re confident that we can make a strong impression in the competition.”
Hassan Zungu from Jinja Secondary School: “Our boys have been training with dedication and discipline, and we’re excited to see them compete against other top schools. We know it won’t be easy, but we believe in our abilities and are determined to give it our all on the field.”
Hamza Lutalo from Buddo Secondary School: “We’re approaching this tournament with a lot of respect for our opponents, but also with a firm belief in our own abilities. Our team has been improving with each game, and we’re ready to challenge for the title. It’s going to be an exciting competition.”
Ronald Ssali from Bukedea Comprehensive School: “For us, this tournament is a chance to show what rural schools can do in football. Our boys might not have the same resources as some of the other teams, but they have plenty of heart and determination. We’re here to compete and make our school proud.”
Ronald Lukungu from Fort Portal Secondary School: “We’ve been working on our strategy and fitness in preparation for this tournament, and we’re feeling confident about our chances. Our boys are eager to test themselves against the best and show what they’re capable of on the pitch.”
Rogers Lwebuga from Masaka Secondary School: “This tournament is a great opportunity for our team to gain valuable experience and measure ourselves against top-tier competition. We know that every game will be tough, but we’re ready to rise to the challenge and give it everything we’ve got.”
