Hill view college Bulangira girls team the Kibuku champions geared for Bukedi Zone

The excitement is palpable as the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association – Bukedi Zone (USSSA-Bukedi Zone) Qualifiers are set to kick off on Thursday, April 11th to 15th 2024 at Pallisa Secondary School.

This highly anticipated competition will bring together talented student-athletes from schools across the Bukedi Zone, as they compete for the opportunity to advance to the  Uganda secondary schools sports association Nationals to be in Masaka and Ndejje respectively.

The USSSA-Bukedi Zone Qualifiers represent a significant platform for young athletes to showcase their skills, determination, and sportsmanship.

With a wide array of sporting disciplines on display,  both boys and girls, the competition promises to be a thrilling celebration of talent and passion for sports.

Pallisa Secondary School is proud to host this prestigious event, and preparations are in full swing to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for all participants, officials, and spectators.

From state-of-the-art sports facilities to top-notch accommodations and hospitality, Pallisa Secondary School is ready to welcome the USSSA-Bukedi Zone Qualifiers with open arms.

However, according to the circular seen by wallnetnews signed by Dominic Maloba Micheal the Chairman -USSSA Bukedi Zone, all schools reporting on Thursday, April 11th 2024, shall be required to present the following during screening;

i)Players who are duly registered on the USSSA PORTAL 2024, ii)3 copies of coloured photo albums obtained from the USSSAPORTAL2024. (Photocopies will not be allowed), iii) Players must be born on or after 1st /Jan/2004,

iv)Only students who sat PLE in 2017 to date are eligible to participate,  v)PLE 2017 to date Pass slips, Passport Size Photos must be attached and in line with the Academic Documents, Information on the EMIS(LIN), NIRA(NIN),

vi)Original PLE results slip for players in O’Level and both PLE and UCE slips for players in A’Level,  vii) Original recommendation letters (Testimonials) for players in S.1 and S.5, viii)Only students on Normal Progress as per Ministry of EducationandSports Guidelines are eligible to participate (Repeaters are not allowed to participate), ix)A valid School Identity Card and x)The players should be on school uniform.
